How best to welcome your intern?

We are pleased to announce the arrival of our intern, Rayan Adjakly, a computer networking student at the Higher Institute of Computer Science in Dakar. The EQDI-En Quête d'ici group extends a warm welcome to him. He has demonstrated a strong desire to develop his skills, and we are committed to sharing our expertise in the digital and technology fields with him .

.

We gave him a warm welcome and entrusted him with interesting tasks. We will support him throughout his internship.

We explained to him how the EQDI-En Quête d'ici Group operates, outlining its various departments, work rules, and organizational structure. We clarified his responsibilities and what we expect from him.

The missions

We want to avoid a "photocopying internship." That's out of the question. That's why, in our preliminary discussions, we defined his main tasks. We noted his desire for intellectual stimulation: he won't have repetitive tasks but specific missions to complete, with a clear idea and deadlines to meet, especially at the beginning of his internship.

He has the opportunity to take initiative and be more autonomous within a clear and achievable framework and objectives. Our intern has his own office and the necessary tools (space, internet access, and a computer he can use). We have offered him the opportunity to participate in meetings, brainstorming sessions, firm activities, and training sessions, among other things.

The support

Throughout the internship, he will be supported, and we will have regular check-ins with him every day or every week. These meetings give us the opportunity to assess the progress of the mission, but also to discuss any difficulties encountered or areas for improvement.

Our trainee will be able to benefit from capacity building in the area that interests him or a training program if necessary: From community manager to web writing, including the creation of information, showcase, e-commerce or institutional websites.

Whether these training courses are organized by our internal or external trainers, Rayan ADJAKLY will appreciate the need to acquire new skills and thus develop his employability.
